This month, NSCC was honoured to be the HPC Partner to the Healthcare AI Symposium 2026 (HAI 2026), organised by the Agency of Science, Technology and Research Institute of Advanced Intelligence and Computing (A*STAR IAIC). Under the theme “Designing the Future of Intelligent Health: Advancing Healthcare Through AI, MedTech and Digital Systems”, this year’s edition convened the healthcare innovation ecosystem to exchange ideas and forge multidisciplinary collaboration.
As the HPC Partner, NSCC is committed to supporting the winning teams of the Healthcare Innovation Pitch Challenge 2026 by providing high performance computing (HPC) resources to refine, train and test their AI models. This collaboration reflects NSCC’s commitment to empowering researchers and innovators with national supercomputing resources to accelerate promising ideas into real-world impact.

During the HPC Partner Showcase, NSCC Deputy Director of Planning, Development & Business, Ms Angie Huang, presented on NSCC’s role in accelerating the next generation of Health AI, highlighting how national supercomputing resources enable research, innovation and translation. She shared emerging trends in AI-driven healthcare research and explained how advanced computing has become a strategic enabler by supporting complex workloads such as whole genome sequencing, digital pathology, medical imaging and large language models.
