Boosting HPC Capabilities, One Clinic at a Time

NSCC Singapore hosted an HPC Clinic at the National University of Singapore (NUS), providing users with dedicated, hands-on support to tackle a range of high performance computing (HPC) challenges. In collaboration with NUS, the session focused on real-time troubleshooting—from performance optimisation and debugging to scaling applications and improving computational efficiency.

Participants engaged directly with HPC experts from NSCC Singapore and Research Computing team from NUS IT for tailored advice and live diagnostics. Over the two-hour session, users resolved performance bottlenecks, streamlined code, and learned how to maximise their HPC resource allocations.

As part of an ongoing HPC Clinic series, the event reflects NSCC Singapore’s commitment to capability building beyond infrastructure, fostering a stronger, more self-sufficient user community. These clinics are a key component of the centre’s strategy to support and grow Singapore’s national HPC ecosystem through continuous engagement and hands-on support.
