NSCC Singapore strives for products and services with the highest levels of security and reliability.
This month, NSCC Singapore hosted two data centre visits, giving both local and international visitors a first-hand look at the nation’s advanced supercomputing systems — ASPIRE 2A and ASPIRE 2A+ — and their role in supporting research and innovation.
The visits included a delegation from the Hong Kong Computer Society (HKCS) and a delegation of students from Nanyang Technological University’s AI for Society programme.
The visit by the Hong Kong Computer Society (HKCS) gave participants the opportunity to learn about NSCC Singapore’s HPC infrastructure and mission, an overview of Singapore’s growing AI technology hub, and presented potential avenues for future collaboration.
The study trip by the NTU student delegation featured a sharing by Tim Zhang Danxu, a recent graduate from College of Computing and Data Science (CCDS) who is now an NSCC Singapore System Engineer. He reflected on his internship journey with NSCC Singapore and the opportunities it provided him to apply AI and data science skills in a real-world HPC environment.
