Build HPC Capability with ASPIRE 2A Workshops

NSCC Singapore runs monthly hands-on introductory workshops for ASPIRE 2A users. These hands-on workshops offer a guided walkthrough of the ASPIRE 2A architecture, including system operations, compilers, environment modules, PBS job submissions, and accelerators.

Participants from new project calls, or those previously familiar with ASPIRE 1—Singapore’s earlier national supercomputer—will gain a deeper understanding of the upgraded system. With a practical hands-on component, attendees can immediately apply what they’ve learned: logging in, transferring files, compiling code, and submitting jobs.

More than just technical orientation, these workshops are part of NSCC Singapore’s broader commitment to capability building. They equip researchers with the knowledge and confidence to fully leverage ASPIRE 2A’s advanced infrastructure—enabling more efficient, scalable, and impactful scientific simulations and computational research.
