The National Supercomputing Centre (NSCC) Singapore has officially launched its 8th Call for Projects, inviting researchers to apply for high performance computing (HPC) resources to support compute-intensive research and complex scientific workloads. The Call for Projects provides access to Singapore’s national supercomputing resources for research requiring large-scale computation, advanced simulations and data-intensive processing.
8th Call for Projects Briefing and HPC Planning Workshop on 8 October 2026
To support potential applicants, NSCC will be conducting a briefing on the Strategic Resource Allocation Policy, application process, prioritisation criteria, and key terms and conditions.
Additionally, the HPC Resource Planning Workshop will provide practical guidance on selecting appropriate computing resources and estimating resource requirements, NSCC HPC specialists will be available for one-to-one consultations to help applicants optimize their proposals.
Key Timeline for Researchers planning to Submit Applications:
- Application Period: 21 September – 16 October 2026 (closing at 5:00 PM)
- Verification by Research Office: 19 – 30 October 2026
- Issuance of LOA to Research Office: 11 – 16 November 2026
- Award Acceptance Period: 12 – 23 November 2026
- Resource Allocation Period: 2 January 2027 onwards
