NSCC and VAST Data Workshop: Modernizing Analytics and AI Workloads

This month, NSCC and VAST Data organised a VAST Data Demo Learning Session to explore how a unified data platform can support the growing demands of high performance computing (HPC), modern analytics and enterprise AI. The workshop demonstrated how leveraging a single platform simplifies how bringing structured, unstructured and vector data together on a scalable platform can reduce data silos, simplify data management and enable organisations to derive insights from their data more efficiently. 

The NSCC Data Lake Workshop illustrated how VAST Data allows teams to organise and search through mixed files on one centralised platform to streamline files and tables into one audit trail.

Following this, the VAST for HPC presentation focused on HPC and AI Infrastructure, outlining the trajectory of AI for Science and HPC and sharing case studies from the Swiss National Supercomputing Centre.
