DSTA Visit to i4.0 Data Centre

On 14 July 2025, the Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA) visited NSCC Singapore’s i4.0 Data Centre for an in-depth look at the nation’s high performance computing (HPC) capabilities. Hosted by NSCC Singapore, the visit aimed to highlight how supercomputing infrastructure can support and accelerate defence-related research and innovation.

Participants were introduced to the centre’s service offerings, Singapore’s HPC roadmap, and the breadth of national projects enabled by HPC resources. The session also showcased the centre’s energy-efficient design — including a warm water-cooling system optimised for the local climate.

The visit concluded with a guided tour of the facility, offering participants a first-hand view of the infrastructure powering Singapore’s digital and research ambitions.
