ASPIRE 2A Users Level Up Debugging and Profiling Skills

On 11 June 2025, NSCC Singapore hosted the ASPIRE 2A Advanced Workshop – Parallel Profiling and Debugging, bringing together users eager to sharpen their skills in optimising application performance on Singapore’s national supercomputer.

The hands-on session guided participants through real-world scenarios—debugging crashes, profiling GPU workloads, resolving workload imbalances, and identifying memory leaks. Participants walked away with clearer insights into how to uncover hidden inefficiencies and boost simulation performance across a range of scientific domains.

For researchers and developers already familiar with ASPIRE 2A, this workshop offered a valuable next step in getting the most out of the system’s power and capabilities. It’s part of NSCC Singapore’s continued push to grow a stronger, more confident HPC user community in Singapore.
