NSCC Singapore strives for products and services with the highest levels of security and reliability.
September marked the official launch of the Climate and Weather Research Alliance Singapore (CAWRAS), a new initiative uniting leading institutions to advance tropical climate and weather research while nurturing the next generation of local talent. NSCC Singapore plays a key role through the Climate and Weather Research and Evaluation Testbed (CAWRET), where we provide the national supercomputing resources, observation datasets, and advanced modelling capabilities that power large-scale simulations and in-depth climate analysis.
By combining cutting-edge infrastructure with collaborative expertise, these initiatives provide researchers with the tools to better understand tropical weather systems, predict extreme events, and assess long-term climate impacts in Singapore and the region.
CAWRAS and CAWRET underscore Singapore’s commitment to leading tropical climate and urban weather science — and through them, NSCC Singapore is helping to transform complex data into actionable insights, empowering researchers and future climate researchers to drive discoveries that support a more sustainable and resilient future.
