
Ms. Chloe Nott is currently the Director (Research) for the National Artificial Intelligence Group, where she leads efforts to develop Singapore’s AI research ecosystem. She is concurrently the Second Director for the Technology Office, where she oversees the Smart Nation Digital Economy Research, Innovation and Enterprise (SNDE RIE), Information, and Online Safety technology portfolios.
Ms. Nott joined the Ministry of Digital Development and Information (formerly the Ministry of Communications and Information) in mid-2022. Across her various roles, she has led teams across a range of policy areas, including personal data protection, online trust and safety, AI governance, as well as the development and implementation of the National AI Strategy 2.0. Prior to this, she served in the Ministry of Trade and Industry’s Trade Strategy and Security Division (2019–2022), as well as at the Economic Development Board, where she helped drive the development of the Digital Industry and International Organisation sectors (2012–2019).
Ms. Nott holds an MSc in Development Management from the London School of Economics and a BSc in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Warwick.
