Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the National Research Foundation Mr Heng Swee Keat announced a S$270 million grant to build Singapore’s next supercomputer and develop high performance computing (HPC) capabilities to support national research initiatives. The announcement was made at the official launch of the ASPIRE1 2A and 2A+ systems, which are research supercomputers managed by NSCC Singapore. Find out more here.

Singtel RE:AI in partnership with the NSCC Singapore will explore making a diversity of high performance computing technologies available for the research community and collaborate on the Paragon platform to deliver seamless user experiences across different systems. A Memoranda of Understanding (MOU) was signed between NSCC Singapore and Singtel at the launch of RE:AI, which was officiated by Guest-of-Honour, Mr Gan Kim Yong, Singapore’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Trade and Industry.
