Mr Bernard Tan
Director for Strategy, Planning and Engagement, National Supercomputing Centre (NSCC) Singapore

Bernard Tan is the Director for Strategy, Planning and Engagements for National Supercomputing Centre Singapore (NSCC), under A*Star. He has been instrumental in planning and executing national advanced research programs that utilize Supercomputing capabilities. With over 20 years of global technology experience with multinational companies like IBM, Red Hat, and as a technopreneur, Bernard is always at the forefront of bringing emerging technologies to the commercial and public sectors with his global markets knowledge hands-on approach.

Mr Alvin Chan
Scientist AI3/Institute of High Performance Computing (IHPC) and PhD candidate, Nanyang Technological University (NTU)

Alvin Chan is a Computer Science Ph.D. candidate at Singapore’s Nanyang Technological University, supported by the prestigious Nanyang President’s Graduate Scholarship (NPGS). His research interests centre around making AI technologies safe and beneficial for humanity, encompassing topics like adversarial learning and deep learning for medical applications. Throughout his Ph.D., he has contributed several publications in premier deep learning venues such as ICLR, CVPR and ACL.

Mr San Linn
Head of Technology, AI2Labs

San Linn has more than 13 years of experience in developing and deploying data analytic and AI solutions. As the Head of Technology in AI2Labs, he is leading AI capabilities development and designing AI products. Prior to joining AI2Labs, San Linn has led and delivered various AI solutions for businesses especially manufacturing and customer service sectors using the technologies range from deep learning, knowledge mining, image/video analytics and visual analytics. He also has strong experiences in software development, customizing AI solutions to customers’ needs and deploying AI solutions.
